AWANA (“Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed”)

“Do your utmost to present yourself to God as tried and tested, as a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”

2 Timothy 2:15

AWANA’s goal is to reach boys and girls with the good news of Jesus Christ.

AWANA exists worldwide as a non-denominational “Kids Club” that currently shares the gospel with more than 4.2 million children around the world every week. It was founded about 70 years ago by two pastors in Chicago. We want to walk alongside children and give them a solid spiritual foundation for their lives through the Word of God. Our leaders are Steve and Rebecca Davids – s.davids@awana.org.

We look forward to having you!

We meet every week on Fridays from 4:45 pm to 6:30 pm in the church hall.

We teach the children to approach God and his Word with reverence and to get to know him better and better. With the help of age-appropriate games and activities, we memorize Bible verses together and show them how to apply them in their lives. We want to show them their purpose in life and how they can live out relationships shaped by God’s grace and love. Working together with parents matters to us.

For more details on dates, please check the calendar, since we pause during school holidays, for example.

Because of the current situation, we often decide spontaneously where we’ll meet. So please always check the calendar or contact Steve Davids!
