Women’s Ministry
Women mattered greatly to Jesus!
Unheard of for His time, He spoke with them, touched them, allowed them to follow Him, and even let them support Him financially! After His resurrection, He appeared to a woman first! Jesus revolutionized the society of His day and, through His teaching, gave women full access to the spiritual life! He showed them the way to a fulfilled life. Even in the 21st century, we women need Jesus so that He can show us the right way.
Frauenfrühstück
At Calvary Chapel Wiesbaden, we know women are wired differently and need something just for them, alongside the regular Sunday service. That’s why we have our Frauenfrühstück (women’s breakfast). We gather in a relaxed setting and treat ourselves – both culinarily and spiritually. In the style of the Calvary Chapel movement, we spend time in worship and in the Word of God, with room for personal conversation and prayer. All women are welcome to join and to bring something along.

Women’s House Groups
We also have two women’s house groups. The “Salt and Light” group meets every Monday evening. Led by Uli Hostetler (English) and Ruth Metzger (German), they read through the Bible at their own pace to get to know the whole counsel of God and deepen their personal relationship with Him. They pray for one another and support each other in memorizing Bible verses. At 7:30 pm, another group of women meets, led by Eva Kaufmann. Here we go through a book of the Bible together and discuss the themes and how we can live them out in our lives.

In Wiesbaden – Mondays, 7:30 pm (German), led by Eva.

Gemeinsam Abnehmen
Gemeinsam Abnehmen (German for “losing weight together”) is a gathering for women who follow Jesus and want Jesus to increase in them while their own self decreases.
